Get creative with the Ancient art of Knapping!
Knapped arrowheads have long fascinated humans. When they were found by farm labourers they were called ' elfshot', thought to be the weapons of the 'little people'. At the time the idea of an age so ancient it was before metal was beyond comprehension.
It is far from easy to learn however. By practicing with softer, more consistent glass you can practice the skill of pressure flaking and at the same time produce a beautiful keepsake.
Knapped glass makes really beautiful jewellery, sun catchers etc. So part of the day will be given to stringing your arrowhead together with beads to make something you can treasure.
