Gallery and Testimonials

We pride ourselves on as much as possible being real. No tricks.  Most of the props are made by ourselves and are part of our commitment to keeping ancient skills alive.

The setting is truly spectacular and never fails to transport the children to another time and place..  Read the testimonials from some of our schools below;

Heacham infants school;
I just wanted to express my sincere thanks for such a wonderful visit today. The children had the best day and it was truly fascinating to listen to your passion and knowledge about all things prehistoric! A parent sent me a message this evening to say what a great day her son had and a little boy called Noah told me 'it was the best day of his life so far!'

It was brilliant to watch the children's faces as they went out to tell their parents about the size of the Irish elk's antlers, their newly gained understanding of hunting, scavenging and foraging for food and a plethora of amazing and memorable facts and experiences that they recalled and I am sure will stay with them for a long long time.

It really was a memorable day and we will certainly be booking in again for next year... hopefully engaging more of the 7 primaries and organising a larger event over a few days if you have space. The children in Year 1 came back into class and have started writing fact files about the Paleolithic, Mesolithic and Neolithic times so I shall send photos of these across to you when completed... they were completely engaged and desperate to write... which at this stage of the year is no mean feat (particularly this year!)

Steeple Primary
"Evening Memma and Twig, wow what can I say. Today was amazing, the children absolutely loved it. They were all engaged and have learnt so much. Your tent was full of fascinating skins, skulls and other interesting items... I’ve had 4 parents message me saying how their child has not been able to stop talking about it since they got home.

I will definitely be in touch to book again."

Gorseland school
“Thank you for such a brilliant day with our children at Gorseland School. The children learnt so much in a variety of ways, not just about Stone Age people but respecting animals and an unexpected for us was not to judge people by their appearance. Some children were initially a little apprehensive, but you were so friendly which lead to a discussion about people looking different and therefore being open-minded.

Lots of teachers also brought their classes around for a peek and said this is what we should be doing so much more of. Your visit had a great ripple effect and by far exceeded our expectations. We have passed your details onto another school who have already booked with you and we will certainly be booking you again next year!”

" The outdoor classroom experience came highly recommended. An absolutely immersive experience for both children and adults! We were able to transport back in time and really get a feel for the Stone Age. Children were able to solidify their learning from class but also build on it with real-time experiences.

Thank you so much Memma and Twig for a wonderful day, the children cannot stop talking about it! "   J. Roberts, Lakenham.
